@HarryGuinness Ok worked it out again. It is the same coin but you are definately the one bending it, clear as can be judging by how quickly you make him close that fist. Well presented but a trick mr derren brown used to use.

Dude, there is no switch.
The coin that is signed is the only coin. It starts off flat and ends with it bend. It can even be a borrowed coin.

Easy effect. The hypnotist is not smooth as he clearly switches the coin. The letters on the coin are easy to copy with a marker like that and he probably planned to meet up to film this.
