I'm neutral on the whole LBAM situation, still in the info gathering process and trying to be objective. However, I have to laugh at the 'we are not pests' comment. You want to see an organism that would be universally quarantined? Look in the mirror. Our predecessors have done so much in the name of progress and greed that letting a moth feed itself seems trivial.

I'm glad you have a tripod now, LucidFiction. I would really like to be able to hear what they're saying here, there's just too much high-pitched feedback on this.
It can be much easier to tell what people are saying in spite of sound problems when you've already heard it. That is a possible explanation of why you can understand it and I can't.
I also have a disability that makes hearing speech when there are extraneous noises just about impossible.

There's something wrong with the sound. Even full blast I can't hear it. It sounds very tinny and I can't make out any words.

thank you for your feedback. for me, the sound does come through when i play it on youtube and i can make out what they're saying. i'm not sure what would cause it to be that poor sound for you. i'm very sorry! i hope others don't have that problem. it's not as loud as it would be, for sure, with expensive equipment, which i don't have. that would sure be nice. but at least, now, i have a tripod. making progress.
