One of the most wonderful things that humans can do with their brains is so often ignored when it comes to the environment of their religion, whether it is the religion they were born into or the religion that they were persuaded to join through fear or promised happiness or some other emotional appeal. I think religion must be evaluated critically, just like everything else in our lives. It has no immunity.

  • What a nonsense. Critical thinking should be applied not only to religions but other beliefs and all branches of knowledge as well.

Don't forget that many atheists are very dogmatic about their beliefs. They refuse to read works other than written

by atheists to the core like Dawkins, Hitchens or Harris. I read all of them and know how they mastered blending valid and invalid arguments, rhetorics, deception and imagery in attempt to persuade.

  • I'll comment on this one, too. I'm curious what you consider "dogmatic" among atheists. An atheist is just someone who doesn't think there is a god. How could that be construed into dogmatism? Maybe you're confusing fields of study occupied by atheists with their atheism. That's a fairly common mistake. Again, you haven't pointed out anything specific, so what is your purpose in commenting?

  • He said in his video that critical thinking should also be applied to religion. Also being the important word here.

  • There are no Scientific proves.

  • Atheists may be 'dogmatic' but we do not follow any 'dogma'. I think also that you'll find that most atheists are atheists primarily because they have read works written by other religions and religious writers.

I'd be interested to know what 'invalid arguments' you are referring to, and with which lies atheists are supporting their position with.

You have blocked me because you've no balls and no brains. It's not a big shame to be an atheist, but it is to be a coward.

Don't forget to upload your profile and add a note that only claquers' comments are desirable on your vids.

  • Ah, so you're a troll. Why am I not surprised? You ramble in generalities. Then you troll because you KNOW people can't answer generalities. Classic. LOL Have fun.

  • And my point is that you should apply critical thinking to yourself first, before you point fingers at others.

  • You can try to refute ANY argument saying "I thought you had a legitimate point but..." thing. So easy to say when you don't know what to say.

  • I see you're not dogmatic as long as you're an atheist. You're one when you're a Christian and you stick to your guns, right? There are lots of scientific proves pointing to a Creator, but most atheists refuse to take a closer look at them.

Larry King once said that it's equally unpleasurable talking to both atheists and new born again Christians. They are emphatic and have doctrinaire attitude. He said that agnostics and mature Christians (like Billy Graham or Rick Warren) make great guests.

    I haven't finished yet, Mike.

Today thanks to atheists like you the whole concept of liberty has been totally replaced by the concept of "freedom" to do whatever one wants to do. In this concept of freedom it's all about one's self, one's own freedom, in competition with others. As someone said, while liberty unites all, freedom makes everyone the enemy of everyone else. No, thank you for your freedom.

  • OK. Sorry. I thought you had a legitimate point to make or at least a sense of humor. You apparently have neither. LOL You are outta here.
