You mean actually better? Nope. One manufactuer and One Chassis in the long term do not make sense. Today's Indycar has to put up with high costs from Dallara even with Honda struggling to supply a series worth of cars and engines.
I am tired seeing the Indy 500 and the remaining races with the same looking car and a sole engine. It is not going to last long with Honda being the sole engine supplier. Randy Bernard should shape things up by 2012 or 2013 if not too late.

True, but point-counterpoint: Having one engine manufacturer and one chassis manufacturer is actually better because the races can be clearly be decided by the teams and ultimately the driver, and NOT by a manufacturer's advantage.
