The thing that THIS was that todays WWE is NOT is simply that it was FUN. It was exciting and funny. Remember,as far as we knew this was legit! Tony Garea really decked Albano. LOL!

@EmeraldAlliances No problem. I just noticed a mistake in my reply to norseleague - it wasn't US tag champions, but rather International tag champs. The WWWF US title was a singles championship, much like the Intercontinental and US titles of the modern WWE.
