I'm feeding these fish black soldier fly larvae which I raised in a 2 foot diameter BioPod. The BioPod is primarily designed to compost several pounds of household food scraps each day. The byproduct of this process is a larvae that is sometimes marketed as "Phoenix worms" and sells for $6 - $10 per 100 delivered. These larvae are super nutritious as feed for fish, chickens, exotic pets and wild birds, etc. A typical BioPod would have 10's of thousands of them in it.

Black soldier flies are a non-pest fly that have the potential to transform the way we process waste. BSF don't transmit disease like house flies do and they're pleasant to work with.
