While your pointing out various features that the Typhoon lacks let's not forget the same sort of criticism can be directed at the F-22 which lacks advanced features that the Typhoon has such as helmet mounted display, an advanced IRST, or any 'true' net-centric capabilities, it's lack of a common data-link meaning it's pilot's still need to use 2-way radios to communicate with other platforms; very '5th Generation' ! ...

TVC has been developed and is already offered to export customers, but the F-22 wasn't even the first TVC equipped fighter to enter service, that was the Su-30MKI which also happens to have 3D TVC while the F-22 'only' has 2D. So I guess the Su-30MK wins this particular round of top trumps then ? ... (rollseyes)

TVC can be added to any fighter, but no current TVC equipped fighter matches the Typhoon's agility or 9G supersonic manoeuvrability. ;)

But still has the lowest RCS of any fighter on the market.

It is capable of supercruise at Mach 1.5 while carrying six AAM's, I think you'll find that meets the supercruise requirement laid out by the USAF for the F-22 itself.

It manages the above qualities just fine without, and internal weapons are hardly a new thing, both the F-102 and F-106 had internal weapons carriage 50 years prior to the F-22 entering service.

Im with you 100% em745aa! These blow-holes are as dumb as the youtubers who agree with them! They offer no solutions and what would they have us do? Stay with the F-15 for another 33 years? Russia is about to fly their own stealthy fighter soon and then what? They have lots of allies they will sell them to who we may go to war with. Without the F-22 and F-35 we might as well throw rocks! Who would hire these idiots anyway? These talking heads can go frak themselves!

I guess the fact that a single F-22 can down a flight of six F-15's with virtual impunity means nothing to these "experts?"

I wonder if similar "experts" are trashing the Euro Typhoon over in Europe? Coz you see, that plane's unit cost is ~£65M (you do the conversion to USD), and that's WITHOUT VLO ("stealth"), true supercruise, internal weapon carriage, TVC (thrust vectoring) and AESA radar.

So what So what So what u gona use then? f35 not a fighter, f15 gona be to old in 30years. All bla bla with no solution to the problem. Sell it to Japan, Australia, Israel and anyone else who wants it but keep the keys. This program has been a farce but thats not the planes fault get someone with weight in charge who's done this before Mc Cain. There is no other alternative, in 20 years you'll need a fighter because the other guy or most likely guys will.
