That's totally how it is. It was just like that in the police academy. They put the former military guys in charge of the non military indoctrinated people so to bring them into that that state of mind. It worked on me for awhile but I felt myself literally getting dumber and losing my critical thinking skills and just reacting to training. It took about 6 months after I realized what was wrong to get myself back to normal.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me that the only thing liovarjo is saying that Alex should be listened to critically, just as you would listen to anyone else. I don't see that as especially unreasonable. I enjoy Alex and I think he imparts a lot of info, but he's not the Burning Bush - no one is, isn't that the point?
