Trapped Chile Miners Found Alive After 17 Days

Chile's president says 33 miners who have been trapped in a collapsed mine have been found alive after a probe was sent deep into the mine and came back with a handwritten note indicating the miners were safe. (Aug. 22)

You can put them in an airplane and run them into the Andes Mountains during well below freezing conditions, and with no seat belts on, and they will live.
