I miss these two sooo much.. I think I covered everyone of her songs.. no such type of music exists today under the genre "country".. i can't even stomach what they play on the country stations these days.. I miss Kathee...

@mpgoode Because modern country music songs are either 80s hair band power ballads or recycled bonehead southern rock songs. Since when is Bon Jovi considered country? These feminine male country singers are just as rotten as the trampy women who claim to be performing country music, but are nothing more than cheap karaoke singers.

@schtheguitarman The truth is, Kathie is happily married to her husband Michael and they're both approaching the ripe age of 60. These other female Nashville singers sleep with their producers and managers to achieve success in the music business, but this was never an option for Kathie, because she is a woman of moral principle and chose the high road over selling out.

It's a damn shame Baillie & the Boys didn't make it big in Country Music. Kathie Baillie is from New Jersey and was raised in Connecticut so she doesn't have the twang in her vocals like Reba Mcentire or Patty Loveless. It's still sad Kathie's name isn't mentioned among the likes of Reba, Patty, and Martina.

Always loved this video. Her voice is so pretty. The fact that they are really married makes it even more special.
