these movies used to blow me away whith the amaysing fx, but todays cgi just borse me, thers just no efort in movies today

That Hydra still look's Bad ass! I'm gonna look for all the classic Harry Hausen film's,I don't have nothing against CG really,but stop motion is not only easier in some way's,but it just seem's funner too,you're not stuck behind a computer the hole time.

it must be hard to do this. to try to keep all those heads moving on the hydra. like they must had to shoot frame move one head shoot frame do the next head etc. right?

Not only are these true classics of yesteryear made with better production in terms of special effects... lack of present tech notwithstanding.. but the overall acting, storyline, editing and music background far exceeds today's garbage. Are you future directors/producers and actors listening??? Lol

@torokthetroll this is an art, you're right, but today cgi isn't as easy as you think.. i'm an architect cgi-artist and trust in me.. to get a "descent 3d scene" you requires a lot of skills and effort. a couple of months just for a couple of minutes.
By the way, I love stop motion! it´s fantastic! :D

The Hydra is such a pussy, i bet with jason's skill he cudnt even deal with a modern earthworm from my garden...great movie, but i think this part was quite bad...

well don't forget that movie was made in the beginning of the 60's! not so bad when you know other production at that time!
