why is it that every time I see the part of the commoners overtaking the soldiers, the song "We're not gonna take it" by Twisted Sister always comes to mind? LOL! :-D
A huge thanks for posting this... I'm a Basil Rathbone fan and I must say he makes me drool when he fences... never mind they always make him lose the fight, he was aknowledged to be the best at fencing. And I agree, these were the best movies.
Superb. Power played this as a parody, but it's still an exciting, romantic story. There are only two Zorros: Tyrone Power and Antonio Banderas. All others are second-rate.

Does anyone else find it hilarious that the priest is continuously saying "God forgive me" as he is wacking people over their heads with a stick?

No quick edits, No fast motion Crap........Real Fencing. Give me the good ole days when people actually studied their craft.

Over 70 years later, and still one of the best, most exciting and realistic swordfights ever filmed.

Still better than most movies made today.

Good movie. Tyrone Power is great as both Don Diego De la Vega and Zorro.
Loved the theme music when Zorro was riding away from soldiers. Thanks for sharing this.

acting and directing should take on this type of raw energy.
