  • lol №2 93 solders)epic

  • Vasily zaitsev needs to be 1st

  • HYVÄ SUOMI

  • @TheZagunator correct, during the SOviet offensive in late February/ early March 1940 when the whole Finnish army was retreating Häyhä was hit by an exploding bullet, it hit his jaw and he was reported KIA (Killed In Action), but against all odds he survived and regained consciousness on 13th of March, the same day the peace agreement became effective, reportedly he read about his own death from a newspaper and called home to tell his family to stop the funeral preparations.

  • @Barbequemannen Vasili Grigorijevitsh Zaitsev fought in Stalingrad with a scoped Mosin-Nagant M91/30, Häyhä fought in Winter war and achieved his kills with an unscoped M28/30 in less than 100 days, he would scout his sniping position the night before and pour water to freeze the snow in front of the position so that the powder gasses would not disturb the snow and reveal him, he also kept snow in his mouth to prevent producing vapor when exhaling, also to conceal himself.

  • Vazily Zaytsev was the best, he was a legend, and he still is, havent you noticed there beent a film based to 90% (10% is things he didn´t want to tell or remember) from hi´s story, and allso from battlereports, from his co-op and from the newpapers, he, is a true sniper, one that deserves without a doubt 1 place, and have there beent any film for Carlos Hathcook II or Simo Haya, no couse there none historical or great snipers, there kill ratio or longest range, its about taqtic and skill!

  • @Akee92 , no he was hit by explosive round, im not genious in this so dont ask anything from me but ive read that from winter war based book and i live in the same fucking country where he lived, finland and the book is made here.

  • Mikhail Surkov.

  • @1tyhmalapsi his own bullet exploded in rifle and make a damage to him.
