Short documentary about the lost continent of Lemuria. Many cultures from all over the Pacific make reference to this land. Here are just a few: The legends of Easter Island speak of Hiva, which sank beneath the waves as people fled, while one Samoan legend calls a similar place Poluto. The Maoris of New Zealand still talk about arriving long ago from a sinking island called Hawaiki, a vast and mountainous place on the other side of the water. The myths and traditions of India abound with references. The Rig Veda speaks of "the three continents that were"; the third was home to a race called the Danavas. A land called Rutas was an immense continent far to the east of India and home to a race of sun-worshippers. But Rutas was torn asunder by a volcanic upheaval and sent to the ocean depths. Fragments remained as Indonesia and the Pacific islands, and a few survivors reached India, where they became the elite Brahman caste. Hopi Legend - On the bottom of the seas lie all the proud cities, the flying patuwvotas [shields] and the worldly treasures corrupted with evil. Faced with disaster, some people hid inside the earth while others escaped by crossing the ocean on reed rafts, using the islands as stepping-stones. The same story of escape to dry land appears in the Popol Vuh - the Mayan story of creation. Augustus Le Plongeon, (1826-1908) a 19th century researcher and writer who conducted investigations of the Maya ruins in the Yucatan announced that he had translated ancient Mayan writings, which allegedly showed that the Maya of Yucatan were older than the later civilizations of Atlantis and Egypt, and additionally told the story of an even older continent of Mu, whose survivors founded the Maya civilization. Later students of the Ancient Maya writings argue that Le Plongeon's "translations" were based on little more than his vivid imagination.

  • The Easter Island statues all face West towards the sea...why?

It's a memorial to all that perished on Lemuria.

Simular statues can be found in China, Japan, Phillippines and Tiawan facing East.

  • @azis1100 where can we read more about these statues?

  • well personally i belive the flag is racist...but it is part of our heritage too

  • Lemuria is made out of three words..Le Mu Ia or Ria in Polynesia it means calling out to Mu

  • @AGIO330 Lemuria was the name We gave to it, the True name of the lost Continent was MU, and Heva was one of the Countries in MU.

  • @AGIO330 Whatever you say! The myth* of Lemuria/Mu is in every culture from the Aborigines of Australia to the Rig Vedas of India and in Ancient China. Before claiming that Lemuria/Mu doesn't exist, there should be further investigation to the hundreds of sunken anomalies such as Yonaguni. As for the memorial to Lemuria, this is what William Mulloy stated in his findings at Ahu Tahai.

  • @absalutevalue He needs a spelling lesson first before he gives out any more info.

  • @azis1100 Lumeria doesn't exist. But I am not denying the idea of a sunken continent.

  • @azis1100 You're right the Maoi Statues of Easter Island and the statues in China, Japan, Phillippines and Tiawan are an ancient memorial to those who died when MU sank beneath the depths of the Ocean. Let us who live now never forget our ancestors either.

  • Heva was a country but the Continent it was in was MU. You have to realize MU was an entire continent and it's fully conceivable that it may have been a land of many different nations, but united. And why some many people want to call it Lemuria is beyond me. Lemuria is the name We gave to it but those who lived there called it MU.

  • the lost continent of heva???wtf??

  • I think I played too much MU this time...

    Hyon Dragon Set!!
