THE GROOVY PROJECT

We're changing the world... one click at a time.
At least that's our goal. We here at Madison-Oneida BOCES (middle & high school) are conducting a social media experiment. Check out the video we made with a pro-acceptance and anti-bullying message, featuring artist NateKid. Our goal is to get it to 1 million people!!!! We believe that a positive message can infiltrate the news media just as quickly as negative news. Help prove us right!! Please watch this video and send it to EVERYONE you know. As a person who was involved with this project on the school side I would like everyone to know that everyone had the opportunity to participate in this project. This was a learning experience for everyone. We hope that not only our students learn from this but kids and adults around the world learn that bullying is not cool and people learn to get along no matter what our differences are !

Such important work. As a bullied kid, I felt completely at the mercy of my circumstances. I never felt protected by the adults around me. It was Lord of the Flies...and many of those scars still inform my 49-year old self. My 12-year old self is so happy to see people paying attention to this!!
