@frodeskibrek Well, actually, the chart says to lower the gear when passing KTI NDB at FL115 (not sure about the altitude). Besides that, if you've flown the innsbruck approach mission on FSX, you'll hear the co-pilot asking you to lower the gear at that point. But you're right. They should have thought about that! :)

The gears were opened too early, they are causing drag and they are slowing you down and even more during the arc turn to 08.
You came too low and a bit slow(during the approach and no the final), but I'm not saying it wasn't all bad.
Very nice video and landing.

@skysurfer007 Actually You should have put wheels down at about 4:00. Although this is a simulator so it doesn't really matter. I liked your video.

@frodeskibrek in the 737 you have to be FULLY prepared for landing a minimum of 4NM from touchdown, but yes, what you said would be right for a piston engined light aircraft :)

Excellent flying, you have done it before, nice demonstration of what this simulation is capable of doing. I know you are currently an airline pilot, were you a glider pilot before?

Good work man!

@skysurfer007 how do u get those good fps in the ngx i get like 20fps at gatwick
i have
intel core i7 2600 3.4ghz using turbooost mostly arround 3.8ghz
8gb ram
nvidia geforce 545gt oem ddr5
i have a quite powerfull computer.
Great video, but one thing... NEVER lower gears until established on short final.
Ca 810-8:15 is a great place to lower them. In such terrain with mountains you can suddenly find yourself needing ALL climb-power. then the wheels give too much drag to climb fast enough . Just a tip. :)

@frodeskibrek
maybe correct for a approach with an single engine piston aircraft... not with a Boeing. The speed for the baseturn would be way to high..

Hallo skysurfer007,
