Thanks. Great song. I'm discovering so many wonderful songs on youtube. I feel as though we in australia were deprived of so much good music thanks to the "industry" dictating what we heard on the radio back then. I was 13 in 1963 and had no idea that there was a whole world of soul out there.

greetings from the land of the hurricane winds, the USA! lol! i appreciate your comment on this video. i consider myself to be a soul music expert and even i hear tunes on here that i have no idea existed and said "whoa!,that's nice!". my music collection has expanded ten fold since i've been watching youtube because someone would post a great song and i'd say "i have to go out and find that one!" lol!

oh yes. i really dig this, but of course you know i love the flip 'one man's poison'. i was going to post it this week. great double sider from liz. i think she was married to bluesman tommie brown for a while. they did operate a label together for some things they did. i'll take this over any of the motown stuff she did. great post.

thanx a million! liz lands had a marvelous voice. i truly believe if she had went to brunswick-dakar after leaving the leaners, she could've been huge! no disrespect to the other femme-fatales they had (barbara acklin, erma franklin, shirley karol, etc.). i just feel like with the elegant type of voice ms. lands had, they would've been able to work miracles with her hit-wise.
