Hence the quotations. For the most part, it was perfect, I mean, Cloud didn't even land one HP hit on me, so that alone is good enough to warrant a "no damage" perfect.

It doesn't tell you in-game, but yes, Cecil has BP-HP attacks.

In his Dark Knight form, his "Dark Cannon" attack chains into any of his other attacks, and if you're good with timing and angling, you can even chain multiple "Dark Cannon".

In his Paladin, his "Searchlight" can chain into "Paladin Force" with proper timing as well. This is the best chain there is for Cecil as it allows him to strike from a VERY long distance is is incredible hard to get out of if struck by "Searchlight".

Okay. I just beat ff4(2) with Cecil solo like 3 days ago, and I clearly remember NEVER flying around when I was fighting. Damn Japanese game designers always making people fly around...

Despite the fact that this was a Com vs a human,the superior character won. Cloud has no chance against an enemy with a personality,much less the great Cecil.

He doesn't have any 'true' chaining HP attacks, meaning the kind you set as an update, but there are many moves for all characters, that with right timing have the same effect as one.
