I love Prince for writing this song, but Cyndi Lauper brings to the song to a new level with her high pitch voice .. great performance on this one when she takes off her beret to unviel a blonde/red mess that would make lady gaga jealous.

I think this really happened to her. This song is epic and I love Cyndi Lauper. Was this originally done by Prince. Because this song is about a guy. So maybe her boyfriend was gay. Or this is Prince song, it would make sense.

Can't count all the times I've watched this performance now. And OMG, it's just amazing. I love this song and I love her hair and I love her voice and I love everything.
