Video from New Jersey's NJN on the whetstones (sharpening stones) washing up on the beach in Mantoloking, NJ. Interviews of Jane Lindenmayer, Connie Pilling, and Jenny Buck of Mantoloking, NJ, and John Vermylen and Lincoln Hollister of Princeton University. The whetstones were originally quarried and manufactured in Pradalunga, Italy.

  • I'm the mayor of Pradalunga, the town that produced for hundreds of years these stones... I'm pleased to see on the web our main cultural/historical product.
