Admiral Byrd and "the 7 lean years"

What did Admiral Byrd mean when he said the Antarctic would be the world's storehouse for the 7 lean years?

The only other reference I have discovered so far to 7 lean years is an end of days reference or two. Now is the Admiral trying to tell us that even back in 1946 they were planning for this inevitability of end of days at a government level as if it were something they knew was coming?

This is from the 1946 Antarctic expedition headed by Admiral Byrd of the US Navy. The famous trip that included the battle of the Antarctic and out of which was born the Majestic 12

We see here that Little America camp 1 wasn't suffering from the Global warming Hoax after being buried 40 feet in snow in just 17 years

No Decay No Rust No Dust No Germs, Everything good after 17 yrs sounds impossible. With that said why don't countries fight over Antarctica? it doesn't be long to anyone why do they share it when it has so much potential and promise.

But instead fight over oil and territory in less than hospitable places.

It makes no sense to me. Is there something there not telling us that makes it impossible to seize control of Antarctica because the weather doesn't seem to much of an issue for them.

Common sense how you ask? Well why would aliens be so interested in earth/mars. Assuming we dont have the technology to say detect these aliens, why would they remain hidden. They have nothing to fear from us, we are no threat to them if they have the technology to remain hidden. And if lets say, there is an alien "zero-intervention" rule, they it does not matter as they will not bother us and nothing will come of it. So why would they be so interested in us? They have nothing to gain.

As to 2012, thats just the date the mayan calandar starts a new cycle. People have been preaching the end of the world since the world began. You all are just gullable, its far better to learn this now than later. Al Gore just likes publicity, the climate of earth does change naturally, not that we probably arent fucking it up, but WWII released more polution(read:Carbon) during its years than we do now. There are no alians visiting earth or mars. Common sense tells us this.

the 7 lean years the commentator was referring to was the PROPHETIC 7 years of trials and tribulation - yet to come! But count on the Illuminati to create bases and tunnels underground, storage facilities for animals, food and water.. and of course, themselves, no, not people, for they are far worse than "people". The "lean 7 years is a reference to the story of Joseph and Pharoh in the Bible. Joseph interprets the Pharoh's dream and is placed in charge of all the food in egypt, storing food during 7 years of plenty. A drought and famine occurs after the 7 plentiful years, but Egypt is saved by the stored food. It really just means 'know what we have here in antarctica, we will someday need it.
