So V was Agent Smith all along. What an ironic twist!

You saw his face in the Matrix. He was Agent Smith.

just take Hugo's face and photoshop it with like freddy krueger burns and you will get what V would have looked like...without the beard of course

OMFG! So the face of V was Elrond!!! ;P

Great movie!!! It reminds me of something. Hugo Weaving does deserve an Oscar. Also, I saw a bio on Natalie Portman and her film career a couple of weeks ago and they very briefly mentioned this movie. They talked a lot about her other movies and of course Black Swan but not V... Things that make u go hum.

@DaisyEnid7 They do have somethings in common. They were both "born" from some tragic situation which made them what they became; they both use masks to/and hide their identities; both V and batman seem to like things like reading, sculptures, paintings, etc; and all in all, they're both freedom/justice/anti-crime fighters; Besides, they are more "nightly" both of them, and even their costumes have some resemblances.

This movie deserved an Oscar. HE deserved an Oscar. I fell in love with a character without ever seeing his face. That is incredible acting right there.
