When you're developing your one-handed backhand technique, you may lose the fluidity of the movement because you're trying to control a new movement "too much". Use this drill to find effortless motion again.

  • @TTech321 Could be. I watch a lot of videos, so it is possible sometimes i miss points in some .

    Continue the good work .

  • These were some great instructional videos, I'm gonna practice this for my own 1handers.

  • @aviramdj You obviously were not even paying attention when he was giving the instruction, or have not watch the previous videos in this series. The coach is trying to get his student to fine the range of his motion on his backhand. The student must fine the balance between how much he can swing out and still stay balanced and have control of the ball so he doesn't become a pusher.

  • that isnt a very good technique in my opinion.

  • Thank you so much Mr. Tennis teacher. This has helped me a lot. God bless.

  • dude

first off all i bring my racket back and step forward to the ball are my schoulders turned sideways in this direction.? and second i hit the ball in front but how i have to fineish with my follow through.?

    Greetingz

  • You don't rotate the shoulders in a 1 handed backhand , that is why this video is very bad and shows this coach has much to learn .

  • you very great coach ,but what has to do ball lifting with the spining amount.and how lifting the ball increase the spining of the ball .i thought it has to do with brushing the ball. the other question which is the most important of all how to create very high speed in the shot i mean high pace and spin in the shot . i will be greatfull to you if you let me now because in your videos ididn't see talk about it.could you please let me now .

  • excellent !!!

  • Eastern is the more popular grip.

I have extreme grip like Guga and it requires really good timing, something 99% of all 1 handers lack.
