Quaker Parrot Talking, quacking like a duck, being cute

Kamali is my 3 year old male quaker parrot. When we got him he could say a few things like 'hey babe', pretty bird, what cha doin?.

So this is a video of what all he's been able to babble about. When he started quacking like a duck, it really threw me for a loop - as we had a duck, Miracle. BUT, Miracle had passed away before we got Kamali. We just look at it as a little reminder of that sweet little duck we had for a short time.

Kamali ALWAYS runs up my arm and gives me a loud kiss on the cheek and I say THANK YOU, so he would always repeat that too, and I love you. Don't think I got that on this video. He's such a character and he and Keiko have become great friends.

@94leozanatta Thanks, I love the name - Ciara - may steal it from you if another female bird comes into my life. I fell in love with this breed a few years ago and Keiko was my first Quaker - you can see her on my other vids. So precious, love their personalities, and they talk up a storm. Thanks for 'sending the joy up our way' in these sweet birds.

I have a cockatiel and I really want a quaker parrot. I live in south florida. Me and my family love birds but cant stand it when they wake us up in the early morning. Are quaker parrots loud in the morning and night?
