@Fireheart528 Thank you. I will soon have to learn the new version though. God bless you.

@josephcormier Great interpretation of this song! I can't sing it this well anyway, but this particular song is one of my favorites. Always play it on November 10 of every year since I learned about the Fiztgerald's sinking in my ninth grade Literature class.

@josephcormier Wouldn't "Fiddler's Green" be appropriate? It's for ALL the sailors who have passed.

@KauaiGtan You've got to be kidding me.(I saw Gordon sing this in the early 70's. He was so trashed he quit the show and stumbled off the stage. Columbus, Ohio. He is a great writer, but he was hanging around with the girl who messed up John Belushi. It was the worst show I have seen in my 59 years.)
That is besides the point. I LOVE this version!!!

@josephcormier hope you didn't take that wrong. we both meant it as complement
So sorry, but how can you pretend to be one of the best folk singers of all time singing one of the best and haunting songs ever. Good try though.

@moodysaaber99 I'll have some of what you're smoking! I never laid claim to being the best of anything? Where did you hear that? I'd be interested to know.
