An affectionate look at the lives of the most successful comedy team in history featuring many of their finest comedy routines, musical numbers, songs and dances. This production had a hugely successful tour of Scottish venues in 2010. It was acclaimed by critics, promoters and audiences. Mull Theatre now re-tour the production due to popular demand.

Laurel and Hardy formed an enduring partnership which took the world by storm. This play lifts the bowler hats off these two charming and very funny men to look at their lives and loves, giving fascinating insights into their off-screen relationships and their personal joys and heartaches.
The charm and wit of Stan and Ollie are reborn in this warm and affectionate look at the most successful and prolific comedy team in screen history.

This was Scottish poet and playwright Tom McGrath's first play and endures as one of his finest.

"The actors shift brilliantly back and forth between their characters' personas on and off stage... a gentle-yet-honest drawing back of the curtain on the duo's private lives..."
Sunday Herald

"...could well be a definitive version of the piece."
The Herald ★★★★

"The senior gentleman sitting beside me...was mouthing every word of every routine and every song. ...Meanwhile, across the aisle, two boys who can't have been more than 12 and who one might assume had never so much as heard of the two comedians were laughing fit to burst."
The Times ★★★★
