magnifique

It is very interesting and illuminating to compare this, the original music, with d'Anglebert's version for harpsichord. Jean Henri acquits himself quite well, I think - a great arranger as well as composer.

It's just beautiful.
Wish I can go back to the 18th century. *~*

is this what you would consider a traditional baroque "court" dance??

@p4L4b1r0 I would say more a traditional baroque theatre dance.

what a nice Chaconne in a rather early style (measured for Lully)!
is there any chance or a link to study the score for an individuum, addicted to Chaconnes??
i would be courious about your opinion on a powerful anonymus Chaconne, i like very much - is this piece suitable to make a dance choreography for it? you may find it by the keywords: ANONYMUS Chaconne Vihuela.
kindest regards from Berlin/Germany - Siegfried

Dear Duo Continuo,
I watched your Vihuela Chaconne...delightful. Yes this piece could be chorographed in baroque style. It would need to be played in a very measured way with the triple time very even and emphasized.
Thanks!
