@GarrettAndersonTV It loosens the plaque and tartar on your teeth

Is this safe to do when your connector has a bit of the internal wiring showing?(Thats where the bulk of the corrosion is too)

Hey - I just watched your video out of curiosity. It is really better to just buckle down and take the cables off to make sure all acid is removed from them to prevent corrosion. Black coffee works better. Take the ends and just dip them in, wipe the post and battery with a coffee soaked rag. To others, to prevent corrosion you can buy a specially treated washer for around $1, put it between the battery and connector and you will no longer have to clean your battery.

I personally don't use soda when I clean car batteries. If you'd like you can use a baking soda/water mixture on it instead. I first loosen the bolt holding the terminal connector on, then remove the terminal connector and put the solution in the connector and around the terminal (the metal piece on the battery) and lightly scrub any corrosion off. It works like a charm. Put vaseline on it afterwards to prevent future corrosion. Hope that helped! :)
i wonder what it does to your teeth then?
