I read all about it in the Preppy Handbook during the 80s as a teenager, and was only able to have one last year when I visited Pittsburgh PA. I wasnt expecting to see a LL Bean store in PA but I grabbed a pair anyway, to satisfy a childhood dream. Now, I am one happy contented user in the most unlikely place in the East - Philippines. LL Bean delivers in our remote province and I am a regular on- line orderer. The LL Bean boot is great for the tropical drizzles that occurs yearound.
