When Siskel and Ebert use to be on Sneak Previews before they started At The Movies. Anyways both of them review the 1983 Crime Drama Scarface. Siskel hated this film but Ebert loved it and I have to agree with Ebert that this is a good movie.

  • ROFL! They review Scarface, then segue into a Mickey Mouse cartoon!

  • 1983's Scarface is one of the remakes that in my opinion surpasses the 1932 original, although I am one of the few people who actually likes quite a few remakes, rather than just ignorantly ignoring them. Pacino is great and almost comedic at times. Siskel was dead wrong here.

So because I said time has proven Siskel wrong, this means I don't respect the dead?

I say it all the time, YouTube attracts the biggest morons, you're a classic example of what I mean.

  • @leafyutube it's all opinion so he wasn't wrong. respect the dead you prick

  • @HaggerMouth hey Siskel? are you trying to communicate with the dead?

  • What Siskel didn't get was that Tony was unhappy within himself like there was something missing in his life.

I thought Tony was very interesting anyway.

  • Hey Siskel, Ebert was right, wasn't he? Scarface is the best movie of all time in the crime drama category! Siskel must have been paid to say that he didn't like this movie, by the same people who wanted to rate it "X"! LOL

  • I normally side with siskel's opinions but he was terribly wrong with this

  • @dante224real1

Bash it all you want, your opinion doesn't matter. The movie is now a classic.

  • @leafyutube why? popular demand of idiots? its just a criminal showing how he gradually makes mistakes. there' no arc. there's not genuine character. just a guy who does what he does based on what he has to do. kind of like any other character but without interest.

  • Time has proven Siskel wrong. Scarface is now a classic.
