I couldn't sleep one night ...so I quietly put on the clock radio to help me fall back asleep...when ' Blinded By The Light ' by Manfred Mann's Earth Band came on...and I thought..." Man, this song is cool ! "...Its played so often on classic rock radio stations and I've heard it countless times I thought.." Jeez!...this would be a great tune to try out "(inspiration hits at weird times)...but because work has been draining me out during the week...I've only been able to work on it a little bit during the weekends....but yeah...I finally got 'er done !! Many years ago I remember being surprised to discover that this popular song was actually written by Bruce Springsteen !!!...and all the covers that I've seen of this song on Youtube are usually done with the original Springsteen version in mind...So I went with the popular 'Manfred Mann' version....I did the whole backing track with drum loops and my keyboard and worked out a guitar solo for it too..and yep..a butter knife helped me out too..lol..Also...I am kind of embarrased to admit that half the time I had no idea of what the actual lyrics were..( i.e...I thought Deuce was Douche !!LOL ! )..pretty abstract words from the Boss I can tell ya !! well Cheers !...and I hope you like it.

I'm a pianist working up a cover of this song and my progress has been slow, I think because the texture is so thick at times. You really helped think about how to present each episode and how the rhythm section varies during each episode. Thank you, you've really made my day, and certainly brought a good artistic close to my week.
