Been working on her for about a year now. Everything electrical works again. Now just for some engine maintenance.

  • Are these little fieros pretty fast?

  • @MrFullComposure Back when I drove her daily, I thought so. They're light. Fiberglass bodies. There wasn't a turn I couldn't take in it either. They have a 50/50 weight ratio. The only problem is cooling. The radiator is still in the front so the coolant lines are long and it's not very efficient. There are ways to overcome these problem if needed though. I personally love these cars. I never took her too her top speed, but they have some get up and go.

  • Ny gauge cluster the odometer dont work.Stay in 60 miles thats all ..Sometimes one day long is work after starting again

  • @voci1953 Check the wiring. Maybe a bad ground. These cars had grounding issues. Check the hot side also.

  • Love the paint job!

  • @jarforsythe The stripes are actually custom from a guy online. I got them and then paint matched the silver on the rocker panels etc. It's the original paint scheme actually.

  • @clm234 Could i have the name of the guy who did it for you? I really like it and would love to do something like that to mine.

  • @yorgle11 Check out Mr. Mikes seats. They're easy to install an look great. They aren't too outrageously priced either. I plan on getting a set for mine when the time comes. But I love the headrest speakers. No one ever believes me that it was a factory thing. Haha

  • @clm234 Yeah, the headrest speakers are cool. I've been a little conflicted about whether to put those in my 86. I still have the 84 for parts (which has headrest speakers) so I put one of it's seats in the 86. Problem is the seats are worn out so they have covers on them, and the seat covers look a little weird with big holes in them for the speakers. They're also the wrong color.

I should probably just get the 84's recovered, but I don't have the skill or money.

  • @yorgle11 Yeah, I like my gauges, but I wish I had a 120mph speedo. And I prefer this tach because it's like most cars and I'm used to it.

I also like my headrest speakers. haha
