Great Shot! Love all the smoke rolling up from the locomotives.
-
Qj is more capable of hauling fright train than passenger train. lol Speed is QJ's defect.
The BLACK smoke looks awesome, probably because of the coal is different.

2 thumbs up! I love steam trains! I never see them in my city anymore..(they were sold to India yrs ago from what I heard).
.....I suspect David Suzuki was the lone "dislike" (the black smoke)

The way freight was meant to be hauled, by steam.
Fantastic video, favourited, also, do these 2 steam trains run on the IAIS lines anymore, or are they stored?

The Iowa Interstate runs them for special occasions only. I believe the rest of the time they're kept at a facility in Newton, IA.

If you subscribe to Trains magazine, the Trains News Wire on trains.com will usually alert you of the excursions, that's how I found out about this one. You can also look for information on Iowa Interstate's website at iaisrr.com

Wow, a great video! 5*
I like the contrast of the high-tech hybrid car in the beginning and then the powerful steam locomotive!
Great job man!
Greetings from Bavaria!
