Cintas Hosts Free Shredding Day at Dayton Mall - Cintas

Cintas Corporation's Document Management division was at the Dayton Mall hosting a free community shredding day for local residents. Steve Schneider, GM of Cintas Document Management location in Dayton, says Cintas got into the document shredding business as an extension of its existing culture of "helping companies solve issues".

On this free shredding day, residents were able to come to the mall with a bin of personal documents, files, and folders to be shredded in a Cintas shredding truck to help prevent identity theft. More than 9 million people a year are victimized per year.

Cintas demonstrates how the shredding truck works - lodaing the bin full of paper into the truck; watching as the truck lifts up the bin and empties it into the shredder, shredding the paper into tiny bits of paper.
