I can believe it, we were part of the exodus; the Pixies were pretty lacklustre. We bailed at the 3rd song, which was lucky b/c the carpark traffic was just turning to gridlock when we got out. Even the offical Splendour report had very little to say about them, not to mention The Doctor's comments on JJJ the day after.

i'm in this crowd. its been three weeks and i feel like i will never stop wanting desperately to go back. not just M&Ss but so many crowd experiences like this - full body joy, a crowd that sang every word of every song and moved together irressistably. no festival will ever compare to the music, crowd and organisation of splendour 2010. keep it at woodfordia!!!

I was at the front of the lower ampitheatre last night, going ape shit of course. Anyway, at one point during this particular hoe down, I turned around and looked up the hill to the rest of the ampitheatre. I have never seen anything quite like it. The best part of 20,000 people going absolutely ballistic. And then that last chorus, you could hear an echo between each line. Basically, it was immense. The perfect end to the perfect festival.

I love love love M&S! Splendour 2010 = Best weekend of my life, almost a yr and I still wanna go back! Somehow I dont think this yr's line up will compare to last! Mumford and Sons, Passion Pit, Temper Trap, Florence & the Machine, Angus & Julia stone, Wolfmother, Foals, Band of Skulls EPIC! Stoked to be part of this crowd! Right up the front too! *Sigh*

Everyone was so happy! There was no fighting or anger, just 20,000 people dancing and singing together.
