  • how do u like the bike? any problems?

  • @skidoomxz550x

    It's a great bike. I haven't had problems other than a scare at 80+ hours of use where I needed to change piston, rings and valves. It's routine maintenance at that time, but I hadn't done it. It's an extremely fun and powerful motorcycle. Definitely recommend if you're considering buying one.

  • Sick dude, I just got myself a KTM SX250 and they have definitly won me over from my old KX, its an animal. I am jelous of them wheelies though, I can get on the back wheel but its just finding my balance and throttle control that im finding hard.

  • @Shaeostik

    Congrats & Thanks! Keep one thing in mind at all times: Keep your foot on the brake pedal. If you're going too far back, press it and the rear brake will bring you forward and down. Falling off backwards is no fun at all!

    @Keeroy1234

    I could get in a lot of trouble if the cops catch me. Fortunately, my country's cops ride old, useless cars or 200cc pizza delivery bikes :P so when I feel they're after me, it's easy to run away. Haven't had a serious chase yet, thankfully.

  • @RGCastro7 Thanks for the advice Ill keep it in mind, yours is 4stroke so I guess the ride is completely different than my 2stroke SX250 but do you clutch wheelie or straight on the power and what gear do you find easiest? Atm I am trying wheelies in 2nd so im at slower speeds and just use throttle and lifting. Do you think I should use 3rd and clutch? Any advice would be great :)

  • @Shaeostik

    Use of the clutch, for me, depends on if I'm doing wheelies sitting or standing. If I'm sitting, I'll generally lift the bike clutching in 3rd gear, though I started in 4th gear while learning, and then shift my way up. If I'm standing I won't use the clutch and I'll use 5th or 6th and stay in that gear until it runs out.

    I started with a higher gear because the power is more controllable and less snappy. Too much throttle on a low gear and you'll be doing a backflip on the ground.

  • @RGCastro7 Hey dude, just wanna say thanks for the tips, I took the bike out today and I was doing hella better at wheelies, since mine is 2stroke I need be in the power band to get it up properly so I use 3rd with clutch or 2nd with no clutch :). I'll have to get some vids next time and put them up, thanks again.

  • Wow, I was once in my town driving with my Motocross, but I was scared that the police would stop me. Aren't you afraid of being cought too? ;o
