Bright Prospect

Founded in 2001, Bright Prospect is a non-profit charitable organization headquartered in the city of Pomona, within one of Southern California's more economically depressed regions. The Bright Prospect Program is precisely modeled on a highly successful scholarship program created by One Voice, a non-profit organization in Santa Monica, California. Over the course of a decade, One Voice has assisted 150 low-income high school students, for whom college was at best a distant dream. With the help of One Voice, every student in the program was accepted with virtually full financial aid to outstanding private and public colleges including Amherst, Harvard, MIT, Smith, Stanford and Swarthmore. Even more remarkable, with the exception of but one student, all are still in college or have earned their degrees. More than a third of those who have received their Bachelors Degree have continued on for graduate degrees. One Voice alumni include physicians, attorneys, scientists, engineers, artists and educators. Their prospects are immeasurably brighter, and their legacy of achievement will carry forward well into the future.
