With every breath I take, with every beat of my heart,
My soul is calling out across the mists of time
Ghostly echos, searching, always searching,
leaving not a trace, except tears.
Where are you, where have you gone?
Come home, come home, goes the anguished cry.
I walk through days and weeks and years
Through many lifetimes, searching just for you.
My arms they ache to hold you,
To feel your warmth, to feel your kiss upon my lips.
My soul longs to join with yours, longs to be whole.

Will I ever find you, the other half of me?
My body aches to join with yours, longing to be whole.
Then through the mists, a whisper, soft and faint,
My breath has stopped, my soul is stilled.
Waiting, waiting expectantly
Is this real
Did I hear the answer to my call?
Could this be real? Could this be true?
Have I finally found my one true love?
The other half of me.
My heart cries out, trust him, my arms cry out their need,
It has been so long
So many lonely years.
And if in answer to my prayers, in answer to my plea,
Your heart answers my heart
As we are standing there,
Come home my love,
Come home to me,
Come fill my life with joy,
Make us whole ...
Now as we stand ...
Soul to Soul.....
