These people in Cuba could really cry if they saw videos, available here on Youtube, about the killing of perfectly good cars thanks to that crap "cash for clunkers". My dad saw one where they killed a 1991 Range Rover classic, just like the one he has, and he cringed in sadness.

Its disgusting how we in the west scrap millions of superb cars everyday, when in cuba those cars would run for another 80 years or more. Dont forget these cars are not made of the same quality of lets say a 80s-early 90s mercedes. Can you imagine how long an old 300D would last in cuba? And that horrible scrappage scheme made people destroy thousands of them. If I had the money I would buy up any decent used car in the west and ship it off to cuba.
