i saw the new bbc adaptation of the forsyte saga and have to say that garson's protrayal of irene forsyte here is more refreshing than gina mckee's.

Greer Garson was timeless but I don't ever think we saw enough of her. She was one of my mother's favorites. I liked her and Robert Young.

The thing about Greer Garson is that she was very gracious , she had such ''inate'' class without doing much , it was sufficient for her to stand in front of a Camera to reflect that.
