This is a frequently asked question on the forums and chat channels, so I finally just carved up a window into a ton of views to demonstrate the process.
The image capture was with iShowU HD, which works pretty well. I wish they would show middle-mouse clicks, and not take up the whole screen with the keyboard tap.
Let me just say, Apple's iMovie HD totally sucks at doing the text overlays. You can really see the sharpness go to crap during those parts. Maybe I should have done this in Blender's own compositing engine, but that would have taken a while to set up.
Sorry, Hatsune fans, this is really not about the Vocaloid One. But she's fun to play with in Blender.
It's not working for me! I must have 20 windows open now!

@MegaBlackDays - Meh. Now that I know the trick I am glad there's not an additional way to close windows. It would just be more clutter.

This video is great. Blender's interface is NOT great. Seriously, why wouldn't they just include a nice "CLOSE FRAME" option in any of the bajillion different window menus.
This program has become too bloated and unintuitive for new users. What other program requires a video tutorial for closing a frame or a window. Amazing oversight by the developers.
