Aye, very true. I think I know why though; it's because when you're a selfish pile of shit ( most of the people I know ) and you look in your wallet, handing a couple grand to whoever for medical expenses sounds like alot.
Too bad when you're looking at it as the federal government it really dosn't ammount to very much at all really. Probably on par with education, which is overspent on in stupid ways that causes one school to be a catastrophe and the next to be in a constant state of update.

The idea of patriotism in this country is similar to the groupthink that the Nazi party enjoyed and inconsistant with everything about the foundation of the USA.
As an Anarchist with some communistic leanings, I can say with aboslute certainty that Obama is none of the above. He's a centrist with some right policy leanings and some left spending leanings.
Just like everyone else who has a successful career in US politics.

I did a doubletake when I first saw that.
Still live here because we had no choice... but fuck... Sarah "I CAN SEEZ RUSSIA! MAKE ME UR LEADER!" Palin actually had real seperate support from John McCain here.
Almost funny, would be if she were running for say Treasurer even. Not funny when she wants to be the VP. Not at all.
