What the point of this? A shoebox safe could easily be opened with a cheap ass screwdriver and avoid damaging the edge of your sog. As for putting the Sog under test, don't try to fool viewers because the shoebox says brinks on it. Film opening a 200lb ground safe and open that with you knife, then I be impressed.

first of all thats a crappy safe, secondly, why are so many small safes easy to open? I opened my miniatue sentry safe with dental tools and i didnt pry anything, so i question how safe safes really are.

@RovingLandRover I was talking more around the lines of Spyderco and Benchmade. Spyderco especially offers much better steels and much more solid and overall better designed knives. VG-10 is the best steel SOG offers and they charge a premium for it. VG-10 is standard for Spyderco and they offer other steels such as S30V and 154cm in knives that are half of what SOG would charge and they don't have blade-play. Not saying they're terrible, just overpriced for the quality.

Too bad for the money you can find waaay better knives than SOG.

nice try, but those "safes" will open up with a variety of objects stuck under there and pried a little. I had one, and got rid of it for that very reason!
Not to say the knife isn't a good knife, but this is not a good test to show that it's super strong or anything.

I didn't go buy a safe to perform this test. I tried to get something out of my safe one day and the batteries to the keypad had died and I could not find my backup key so I had to break it to get in. I happen to have my sog on me, and my cell phone recorded video as well, so I decided to record it and see what happend.
