Living in Hyvinkää Finland, with his home mountain being Sveitsin Hiihtokeskus, Peetu has been travelling the world competing since 1997.
He competes on the TTR World Tour and is currently one of the best competitive snowboarders in the world. When not snowboarding he likes to relax, chill with friends and fit in the occasional round of golf.
Piiroinen is renowned for being quiet however he lets his snowboarding speak for itself.
He recently won the 2008/2009 Swatch TTR World Snowboard Championship and received much favourable press in his native country of Finland.
