A closer look at instruments used in mandolin orchestras in the early 20th Century.... Acoustic superpickers Tim May and David Harvey brought out their personal vintage Gibson collections at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on June 27, 2007, for a powerful demonstration of the beauty and enduring quality of these old treasures. In Chapter Seven, May plays a 1917 Gibson F-2 Mandolin while Harvey plays a March 31, 1924, signed Lloyd Loar Gibson F-5 Mandolin with Virzi Tone Producer. The tune is "Angeline The Baker".
