The number is endless but I've been a Harvey Andrews fan for nearly 40 yerars saw him in London way way back when but two or three of his songs are still among my personal favorates never seen him since had to really search in those days to find his music but today the music is easily attained by the masses but the masses have disapointed me. But having said that my daughter now go's to see her mates play music in dingy clubs and has some great songs but as I said endless gems

Its a shame really McTell had lots of songs some really good songs in fact some great songs yet all he's remembered for is "Streets of London" [a really fine song].
Anyway he has loads of those bluesy jems thanks for reminding me must go look them up, well played as usual

I couldn't agree more.... but then again I'm always blown away by the amount of song writers I discover through you tube that i haven't heard before.. the other day I heard a song by Jesse Winchester.. (Jessie Winchester sings his song "Sham-A-Ling-Dong-Ding" and slays Elvis Costello on Spectacle) for me outstanding .. How many more gems out there.. ??
