I had a IW mix and he would breath like that when he was not sick. (He got hot easily.) I remember one time mom got mad and yelled "STOP BREATHING!" Lol. me, my brother, our two aussies and the wolfhound all turned and looked at her like she had grown a second head. Asking a little much?

@farrellphil i wouldn't want to be a dog under your care. would feel more like a slave camp than a home. i never consider my dogs my property or me being the owner. simply other family members and best friends

She's breathing kinda heavy in this video. It seems like she's got pneumonia (common for this breed). I'd have had that checked out. I've known plenty of wolfies, and heavy breathing worries me because one of my favorites died from complications.

@Mewsaphine - Thank you for your concern. Keva has a full body check-up every two months. Irish Wolfhounds are known to breath heavy without having Pneumonia. She has always been a heavy breather right from a pup. I will keep an eye on her and if there is any irregularity in her breathing I will take her to the vet right away. Thanks again for your concern. I am sorry to hear about your beautiful IW. So sad losing a friend.

maybe if your going to have a dog like an irish wolfhound ..you may want to do 2 things !.research its breed and 2. train the bloody thing .... so wrong watching a dog of any size not obeying commands from its owner.
