Not only beautiful, but actually on of the if not the most ancient of all pencak silat styles. A lot of styles derive their technical program from the Sumatran Harimau style.

it is an unusual style and very beautiful i've been practicing now for just over a year. I wouldn't say i'm great by any means either but its a lot of fun and a good way to stay in shape. Again though this comes down to the practitioner. If you know these kudas, and have ever done kung fu you should be able to see the similarities in some of the stances as well. Great art. Lotta fun.

Drawing comparisons between martial arts styles is for ego filled newbies. The truth is that it is not the style but the practitioner that makes it work. It is pure arrogance to say something doesn't wok if you don't train in that style and have not tried to put it to use. It is blatant disrespect to those that came before you and paved the way for you to even learn what you know today. Have some class and workout with someone from the style and maybe you will truly learn something.

I think it's absolutely pointless to have the facility for viewers to post comments on videos of this nature. It only attracts the most moronic statements from the most narrowminded people, who haven't got a single intelligent thought in their heads!
