no question mj is the greatest but I have never seen jodan play when he was in the bulls only in washington. But when looking at his moves and what kobe does, it just so similar the fadeaway and everything. Only thing is differeent is kobe doesnt have the team to win right now he got about 6 years left to do something great if the lakers can get him the team to dominate like MJ did.

  • U get one..

U dummies crack me up with "Trying" to insenuate one doesn't have one because they posted some comments on here.

If that's the case, U don't live up to your OWN bogus standard of ya idiot..

That's TYPICAL of posters like yourself..when U can't refute what the other guy is saying, U try & insult him or WORSE, imply they doesn't have "a life" to mask the fact that you're incompetent regarding a subject matter U have no business trying to debate to begin with..

  • If you watch Spike Lee's Documentary on Kobe, you get a whole new perspective on how much Kobe really is a team player now. He's really formed into a leader

  • @blackadam06 MJ = GOAT, Kobe = NETGLOAT (Not even the greatest Laker of all time).

  • @dallas021

    Oh really?

Kobe vs his teammates in career finals FG%

    Kobe: 333-808 (41%) < his teammates 1041-2161 (48%)

And given the fact that for his CAREER he's:

    37-97 (38%) in Game 7's

    38-108 (35%) in 5 title clinching games

and has shot 40% or LOWER in 5 finals, only avg's 21ppg 1apg on 36% shooting in ELIMINATION GAMES, while his teams only have a 8-9 record, sorry..but his rings are MORE of a reflection of consistently having great talent around him, to CARRY HIM in their biggest games...

  • @blackadam06 ok, so since the ring account is a TEAM accomplishment, what do you think about Kobe's leadership skills as part of argument for him as the best player in the league?

seeing that leadership skills (motivator, ability to takeover a game, poise under pressure, etc..) are measured best by how far you can lead your team, it's fair to say that Kobe's displayed those skills most consistently since '07. Therefore, those rings are a reflection of his leadership skills.

"kobeis the best thing since mj left"

    haha***wiping my eyes***hahaha

"theres no stat that can this isnt true"

    That's where you're wrong.

He hasn't been the best player in the league since '07. If you're looking at his ring count, that's a TEAM accomplishment, not a gauge for individual ability, skill or talent.

    "u just gotta respect him"

I do, I just don't respect his ignorant ass fans who constantly OVERRATE him in comparisons.

  • @blackadam06 mj best of all time... kobeis the best thing since mj left....theres no stat that can this isnt true no matter how hard you kobe haters try u dont have to like him u just gotta respect him ..... which brings us back to why this is even a videop and why they asked phil jackson in the 1st place....over and out

  • Kobe= GOAT

  • @cespin3823 not even close? OKAY...

  • @kovacs562 not even close

  • @datruthbme11 WTF?? KOBE isnt 2nd best... he's the BEST.
