i dont think american polticians witnessed enough of that war. Wilson whas the ONLY man in the treaty who wanted to make a strong germany again... after four years of needless bloodshed. hedidnt know how many people died in that enlarged execution room. i think clemencau was right. he wanted to split up germany and give their lands to france, russia and other states. we, the dutch would have great benefit, because we were likely to get the ruhr-earea. we would have been rich beyond our dreams.
